I am leaving this morning for the Scandinavian meetup in Helsinki and a long-needed three-week vacation; it is quite unlikely that I will update the blog or approve new comments before August 15.

I will, however, take advantage of this time away from my writing duties at work to prepare a series of posts that I intend to start publishing when I get home. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a more regular updating schedule - but of course, with me, it is always hard to know for sure. I appear to have kicked depression so far away that it has not yet found its way back to me, but some lesser monsters are still around. I hope to lose them in Finland or Sweden, but some might be waiting for me at home. You never know with those.
